Powell Robinson is a narrative and commercial Director based out of Los Angeles.
His first feature film, BASTARD (2015) co-directed with Patrick R. Young the same year they graduated college, was distributed domestically by Fox Home Entertainment & After Dark Films, as well as worldwide by Tombstone Distribution.
Since then he and Patrick directed a second feature Powell also acted as Cinematographer on: THRESHOLD, which was acquired by ARROW FILMS and released worldwide in 2021 after a successful festival run in 2020 which included Salem Horror Fest, Grimmfest, and more.
Powell's commercial career has included directing the live tour visuals for EDM icon Seven Lions from 2017-2019, both directing and engineering the Voice Over work for Adult Swim's game Death's Gambit, narrative branding spots for BEI Construction, and select high-concept music videos.
He's currently developing and pitching two TV Series, as well as promoting a slate of projects (Feature & TV) with Patrick Young for their company Big Bad Film.
